Research Focus:
We are using mouse genetics to study the developmental and physiological functions of
signal Transduction molecules and transcription factors in the nervous system and muscle. Our
major areas of interest are the functional analysis of:
• Neuregulins and their receptors, the ErbB tyrosine kinases
• transcription factors that control development of the spinal cord
• tyrosine kinase receptors in organ maintenance and regeneration
